Information we process

When you follow an affiliate link from Creator Tool Brief, our application may record the page path you came from, the affiliate program selected, and an approximate traffic-source category, such as search, email, direct, or an AI answer service. The application does not write your IP address or user-agent string to the affiliate-click record. When a referrer is available, it is used to derive the page path and traffic-source category; the full referrer URL is not stored in ClickEvent. The category may be retained briefly during your visit so internal page navigation does not erase the original source.

Our hosting and infrastructure providers may process technical information needed to deliver, secure, and operate the site, such as IP addresses, request headers, browser or device information, and server logs, under their own terms and privacy notices.

For authorized administrators, we process account and authentication information needed to operate the CMS, including an email address, a password hash, a name if provided, and session data.

Cookies

The public site sets a first-party, HTTP-only traffic-source cookie for up to 30 minutes. Its value is limited to a general category such as search, email, direct, or an AI answer service; it contains no personal identifier and is used only for aggregate affiliate-click attribution. An essential, HTTP-only session cookie is also set when an authorized administrator signs in. Affiliate partners and other sites opened through external links may set their own cookies and process technical information under their own privacy policies.

How we use information

We use the limited information described above to operate and secure the site and CMS, attribute outbound affiliate clicks, and understand general traffic sources. We do not use affiliate-click records to identify individual visitors.
